About Fat Beehive Films

Fat Beehive Films is the film making arm of Fat Beehive Ltd. We provide video and film making services principally to charity and the not-for-profit sector but also to construction companies (health and safety) and film companies (behind the scenes shoots). We plan, film, edit and deliver film and video content, taking care of the whole process while working with the client to ensure a fantastic result.

Fat Beehive Films started out by making short, narrative personal films to learn the craft in 2003. We began creating films for clients in 2006 once we had honed our skills and were competent in the process.

Based in East London, we work wherever the filming needs to take place. We have covered conferences in Leeds and family weekends in Dorset as easily as filming outside Parliament in Central London.

Video work greatly complements our website development work. Wider and faster Internet access means that video is now a great website format and a powerful communication medium. Rapidly developing video technology allows us to make use of high resolution equipment with small filming crews - where possible (quite often) we can achieve a shoot with a one-person operation which in turn reduces the cost to our clients.
